Falling into pieces..

The last few weeks have been awesome. We figured out where we wanted to go on our honeymoon, and then had the in-laws offer to pay. That was pretty sweet. :) Then my dad called and said he was able to help out a little more..AND THEN we did the taxes. So that pays off the hall. We had an "all proceeds go to the wedding" garage sale and made a little over $600...That was pretty awesome. So now all we have is my dress and cake to pay off. AND tickets to the California reception..and tickets to Miami for the cruise (Not sure if the in-laws are paying for those). Anyway..We're at 103 days. Ouch. Where'd the time go?

Can I breath yet?!

Its been a pretty busy couple of weeks. Not anything super wedding related, just dealing with school and all that comes with it. I have two Knot accounts..one I use on the forums, and one..the first one I made that had the beginnings of my guest list on it, and to be honest, I can't bring myself to delete it. I have most my planning on it, and I dont want to switch. ANYWAY- It was a little tough. I was going through there and adding and deleting people, when I saw my Grandpa's name on there. That was tough. I still haven't deleted his number out of my phone, or taken his picture off of my wallpaper on my phone. It will be a year in March that he will have passed. I'm really thinking of doing something to show his presence at the wedding. What are some good ideas?

This week..

Besides the fact that i missed a test in my stupid music appreciation class today, this week has been pretty good. I got half my bridesmaids to buy their dresses. I also called the lady I ordered my dress from and she told me that instead of them shipping my dress in May, they had on in the warehouse and itll be here this next week. That was pretty cool. Kyle's parents went in and paid some money on the venue which was VERY awesome! But now I sit here and Im starting to get pretty stressed out. We were at my nephew's birthday party (he's 12, he's a jr groomsman) and everyone was picking on me..or so I thought. I just am not in the mood today, and for some reason everyone thought it was so funny to mess with me. Oh well, I can take it, I guess. I think Im just absolutely and completely stressed from school. whew. I need to take a breather, and I think I need a hug, :). This week was good..I forgot. I got my hair done!

I'm on my way to go get my dress.



Kyle coaxed me in the car to go to the store to get some groceries and we checked the mail. He got one of his extra job checks that helps a little bit, then I noticed an envelope from LONESTAR COLLEGE. YUP!!! It was my financial aid reimbursement. WOOHOOO!!!

I've got to work today, but Im taking Paige with me to go get it.

This cured my mood for a little bit.

Is it just me, or is it when things are coming together flawlessly, there is something that is bound to happen?

We were supposed to order my dress...TWO weeks ago. Then when we were going to go do it this weekend, my mom's truck was broken. Not that I'm depending on her by any means, but that was what she wanted to do for me. I'm not angry at her, but maaaan I am so frustrated. Then I get an email from Kyle's stepmom saying the 2k they said they'd be able to contribute has been lowered to $700. We're absolutely grateful for whatever we receive. But this is just a shot in the gut. Thats $1300 we have to pull out of..who knows where. On the dress front, that was THE dress. I mean, everything I ever wanted. It was a great price and the lady we were buying from was amazing. Now pushing it back this many weeks is putting us in a bind.

This is the first time in this wedding planning I've been down and not wanted to even do this. At this very moment I should've listened to Kyle and eloped.

I just uploaded a BUNCH of pictures..from all sorts of stuff!

I went to Dollar Tree today to blow some time and I figure its not much money if I do end up buying something. Well!!! I found these CUUUUUUTE mint boxes.

They're adorable and I just saw them at the Bridal Extravaganza but they were colored, not white. Which, I like the white more anyway..so it worked out great! The lady wanted to sell them to me for $1 a piece (that was the special) and then charge me to put them together, not to mention the organza. In any event, this gives me another DIY project to do..whew! I did take pictures of some of the candy buffet things I bought as well. I guess I had a really productive weekend!
