I love being proven wrong.

Seriously.
Im going to put today in the category of "One of the best days ever." I had my Bridals with a very sweet Mrs. Jules. I have a few teasers, that Im sure are nothing compared to what she got. It was super hot at the mercer arboretum but was defintiely worth it. I wasn't too interested in doing Bridals. Let me take that back. I was very interested but I wasnt sure about having money to do them. And I wasn't sure on if I'd have money for make up and hair for them, etc. God works in mysterious ways and things worked out. We managed through the heat and the sun (And the sprinklers) and got some great shots. AND AND AND..my dress fit better than I though. Woooooohooo! Less than 2 weeks. I cant even belief it. God has graced us with so much over the last few years, Im so excited to see whats to come!

Bachelorette party and stuff!

Exscuse me if this doesnt make any sense or if there are many-a typos, but I just popped 2 ambien and it hasn't kicked in fully.
Because Im lazy (And super tired) Im just going to copy this from The Knot..
I meant to come and tell everyone what a GREAT bachalorette party I had. No inflatable peni (plural for penis), no crazy veil, no strippers, etc. Seriously, I didn't want that. If you do, more power to you! I just wanted to go out with my girls and have a great time. And thats exactly what happened. They kept it a secret for over a week. They told me that we are going to be staying somewhere for the weekend, but wouldnt tell me if it was in town or out of town. Finally on Thursday they told me that we are going to San Antonio. Best idea ever. We stayed at the Valencia, which again, Best idea ever. It was soooo pretty and sooo beautifully decorated. We ate dinner at the restaurant belo the hotel and then went walking. We ended up at Tabu (?) I dont even know and Coyote Ugly and then a few little dives here and there. We got breakfast in bed and then shopped at the market afterwards. Super fun without being labor intensive, especially this close to the wedding. We wanted to hit up the Blue Hole in Wimberly on the way back but we were having a rough morning. Totally reccommend this to anyone.


That was my bachelorette party. Wooohoo! IT WAS SO FUN. I couldn't have asked for a better party. ever.

Tomorrow we are going to have my Bridals. I wasn't very excited at first, with my grandma passing, its been a hard few weeks for me..but Im pretty excited now. Mom and I went to buy some ribbon and then after work this evening we got my hydrengeas and roses for my bouquet. Im going pink for that bouquet, which Im pretty excited about, seeing as my bouquet for the wedding is white. Ill post pictures tomorrow of the outcome!

We are officially 2 weeks from the wedding, tonight. Wow. Where did this time go? Seriously, I remember getting on The Knot and I had 9 months and I thought it was an ETERNITY. Then it went to 6 months and I still thought it was too long. Now we are less than 14 days away and I could almost pee on myself Im so excited and anxious. More so anxious that everything will not fall together like I hope. We've had a lot of people that were definite yes-es that were supposed ot be at the wedding that conveniently are unavailable. It hurt my feelings for a second then I realized that the important people will be there. Kyle wanted to elope. If he had it his way, we would have gone to Europe or the Bahamas and come back married. Me, the fool, decided..noooo lets spend way too much money. Oh well. Its going to be the time of our lives. I think Im just being cinical because we're broke as a joke right now. Anyway, lets hope we have no more hiccups and in 2 weeks Ill be packing for the BAHAMAS AND MIAMI, BABY!!! Seriously, I cant wait. Best time of my life right here, suckas.

I got it!

So, I got my dress. While I was there, I figured I would order my veil. I go in there, and find the one I wanted. ... then another one. One had beading on the bottom and wasn't very full. The other had crystals sporatically placed and was definitely more full. I had decided I loved the full one but could not get it in diamond white. In the veil, there was not much of a difference. I stalled for a while and then the owner of the bridal shop told me she was trying to get rid of that certain designer because they didn't have diamond white and that she'd sell it to me for 50% off..

What a great day.

Wow.

Last week was pretty much the worst week I've had in a LONG time. My grandma isn't doing well at all. Im very glad we made it to see her a couple of weeks ago. On top of that, my doctor had me come in to talk to her about some test results. I have some abnormal cells and have to go in for a biopsy. Wonderful. And then my mom who promised to pay for my dress, or the remainder of it, rather, said she could no longer do so. Great. Im not mad at her, along with everything else, its the situation I am frustrated with. :(

I woke up this morning hoping to have a relaxed weekend, since I've got to work tonight. We went to lunch with the in-laws and I get a call from my mom. She told me that she is able to help me after all. Seriously, I feel like 500 pounds has been lifted off my shoulders. Here we are 4 weeks from the wedding, I was not expecting to pay an extra $500 on something.

So ..
Wow. I was going to finish this, and my mom just pulled up. We're going to go get the dress today!!!!!!!!!! right now!!!!!!
